Hi there was just surfing through the social bookmark sites looking for some new learning posts when i found this post on google buzz. I had to write you a message to tell you that I truly appreciated this blog post. I just can't discover very much quality any more on the internet anymore with all the useless posts out there so whenever I do uncover a fantastic posting I enjoy it. Keep up the excellent job and I am confident this site is going to go a long ways and become extremely well-liked

Well said. There were numerous times in early iterations of our product (specifically the Operator Console) where I said "this is just a placeholder for now", and it became part of the final build.

It's not always due to time constraints, either. Sometimes the product becomes very complex in a short period of time. Before you know it, that little placeholder is already deep inside the core functionality of the app. You want to rewrite it, but you know it will have a profound impact layers up, and it's not feasible anymore.

I've definitely become more conscientious of writing code the first time as if it's the last time.
